Tire changes at houses in Alberta
Refunds
Last updated October 28, 2026. These are the terms I use. They do not remove a right that Alberta or federal law does not let you give up.
You are not charged for a vehicle I do not change because of weather, roads, illness, equipment, or access. I always attempt the change. If I cannot do it, I try to contract that portion out. You are not charged extra when someone else does it. If it is not contracted out, I refund the published rate for each vehicle that was not changed.
A duplicate charge is refunded in full once I confirm it.
When a statute requires a full refund
If you cancel under the Internet Sales Contract Regulation, or under the direct-sales rules on the cancellation page, I refund all money you paid under that booking within 15 days. That refund is not limited to unused work. Those rights apply in the cases the cancellation page describes, including a booking over $50 formed by email when the required disclosure or contract copy was missing, and an in-person contract away from my place of business.
Other refunds are also sent within 15 days after I confirm the amount. They go back by the same method when I can, or by e-transfer. Each refund is written on the invoice with the reason. I do not charge a cancellation fee.
