Tire changes at houses in Alberta
Terms of service
Last updated October 28, 2026. These are the terms I use. They do not remove a right that Alberta or federal law does not let you give up.
These terms cover tire changes for personal, family, or household use at a house in Edmonton, Beaumont, and Leduc. I do not change tires at businesses, parking lots, or plazas. I do not mount tires. I torque the wheels to spec and fill the tires with air.
When a booking exists
The request form is a request, not a contract. Check it before you send it. You can close the page instead of sending. A booking starts when I confirm it in writing and you do not decline that confirmation. You can correct a mistake, or decline, before I confirm and before the work starts.
If the booking is confirmed by email or another text message on the internet, and the amount is more than $50, Alberta's Internet Sales Contract Regulation applies. Whether a booking is over that amount depends on the price I confirm. I give you the same description, price, and cancellation terms either way.
Within 15 days after a booking is confirmed, I send you a copy you can keep. The copy includes your name, the date, the service, the price, how to pay, when the work starts, and these terms. The invoice is that copy when it is sent to the email you gave me.
Price
Each price is one vehicle at the house. Tires under 18 inches are $60.00. Tires from 18 to 22 inches are $70.00. One booking can cover up to eight vehicles. The price is that rate times the number of vehicles. The tires must already be on wheels.
The price on the request form is the estimate for the choices you selected. Under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act I will not charge more than 10% above that estimate unless you agree to the higher price before the work. A change you ask for, such as another vehicle, is a new price only if we both agree. A price I have confirmed does not go up because the public rates change later. There is no customs duty or delivery fee.
Payment and start date
I do not take card numbers on this website. You can pay an invoice by a Square link, by e-transfer, cash, or a card I arrange with you. The invoice shows the due date. I do not add interest.
The change starts on the date I confirm with you. The place of the work is the house on the booking. I always attempt the change. If roads are closed, I am ill, equipment fails, or the property cannot be reached safely, I try to contract that portion out or refund the published rate for the vehicles that were not changed.
Your part and mine
You give a usable house address. The vehicle is at the house, and the tires are already mounted on wheels. I am responsible for damage I cause by failing to take reasonable care. I am not responsible for a defect that was already in the tire or the wheel.
Bookings are with an adult. If the household member arranging the work is under 18, a parent or guardian should send the request.
Law
Alberta law, and the federal laws of Canada that apply, govern a booking. The courts of Alberta can hear a dispute. That does not stop you from using a right under the Consumer Protection Act, or from complaining to a privacy commissioner. Cancellation and refund details are on those pages. Nothing here is an agreement to give up a right the law does not let you give up.
